I doubt many people come here for news, but I wanted to mention that the excellent children's book/comic The Invention of Hugo Cabret has been nominated for a National Book Award (caught it: Tom Spurgeon). I reviewed the book way back in March, before anybody knew I existed, and I loved it, so it's cool to see it get some recognition. Good luck, Brian Selznick!

Since I'm probably not going to get to any reviews tonight, I'll go ahead and point out my review of Drafted #2 over at SBC. It was better than the first issue, but still not great. At this rate, issue #15 should be awesome.
